In 2025, A counselor from West Park Place Elementary, was recognized at the Delaware School Counselor Association (DSCA) dinner for being nominated for the State Counselor of the Year Award.

In 2024, Keene Elementary School was awarded Best in Show for their food donation design of canned and boxed food sponsored by the Food Bank of Delaware.
