We are proud to announce that Jessica Liu, Wilson Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year, has been named the Christina School District’s 2026-2027 District Teacher of the Year!

Christina School District will follow a staggered early dismissal schedule on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 10. Select schools and programs will be wrapping up on Tuesday, June 9.

This week, we proudly celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Week and honor the incredible teachers and staff who bring passion, creativity, and commitment to the Christina School District every day. 

Since May is also Bicycle Safety Month, it’s the perfect time to promote healthy habits and safe riding by teaching students about the importance of helmet use, traffic rules, and basic bike maintenance.

School Board Elections will be held on May 12, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Four seats are up for election on the Christina School District Board of Education for Nominating Districts A*, B, F, and G. 

A time to reflect and celebrate the important role that Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs) have played in our nation's history.
